Above all, just stay curious about the world and around you and learn how things work! The best game designers in the world are very curious people who are constantly learning new things. ![]() If you love to draw (and I loved to draw cars when I was a kid), there are lots of 2D and 3D art classes you can take in school/college. ![]() Karthik Bala: You can't go wrong in learning science, engineering, and math! All of those are important aspects in developing video games. For example, i enjoyed drawing, so I studied art and got a job as a video game designer. Yosuke Tamori: There are always commonalities between what you like to do and want to do, and the skills needed for the job you want. So, we adjusted their size and the position of the camera to ensure it drives better. But we learned that if we used this balance for the physical kart for this game, then Mario and Luigi would've been too big and caused the kart to run less smoothly. Yuji Ichijo: For real karts and in the classic Mario Kart series, the size of the driver or character is large compared to the kart. So we changed the kart hardware to increase the torque. We found out that if you slowed the kart down to a speed that a beginner could manage, the kart could get stuck on the carpet. Hiroki Ikuta: Since homes around the world have many differences, like floor type and size, we first had to research different environments to race in. Yuji Ichijo: It took three years to create, which may seem like a long time, but it was fun to be able to do new things every day, and the time passed quickly. Once we find the fun, then we build on top of it and enhance it. We quickly start building prototypes to test the different ideas until we discover something unique and fun. The collection will be released on September 28 and is available for pre-order now for ¥7,128.Karthik Bala: Velan starts by building an awesome core team and working on ideas. That’s right, the game comes with a small electronic go-kart that is topped with a camera. ![]() There are two parts to the game: a physical go-kart and the Switch game. Unlike previous versions of Mario Kart, this one comes with a mini IRL go-kart that races on a customised virtual course. This time, you can race Mario or Luigi in the comfort of your own home. On October 16, Nintendo will release Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit for Nintendo Switch, the latest entry in the popular racing game series. Now, Nintendo Switch is coming to the rescue.
